Motorola Droid 3 Now Available Online From Verizon Wireless For $199.99

Motorola Droid 3 has been teasing us for the past few months. Now the folks in the USA are finally going to have their hands on the Motorola Droid 3 very soon, as Verizon Wireless has just announced the phone officially. The carrier has started selling the phone online on its website for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Though you can order the phone from the Verizon’s website starting today, the phone won’t be available in the store until July 14th as expected.

Verizon’s Motorola Droid 3 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and sports a 4-inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels of resolution) and has 26% more pixels than its predecessor Droid 2, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash with ability to capture 1080p HD video, a front-facing camera for video chat communications, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard,  16GB of on board storage, up to 32GB of memory expansion support via microSD card, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, supports CDMA and GSM technologies (global phone) though it’s missing the support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network across the US.

You can order the Motorola Droid 3 from this Verizon Wireless page (hit the link) for $199.99 on a two-year contract or alternatively it can also be purchased for $459.99 full retail price without needing to sign any contract with the carrier. If you want to buy it from stores, you need to wait another week.
