A few hours ago, T-Mobile has officially announced that its exclusive version of the HTC Wildfire S is set to launch through the carrier’s air waves on August 3rd, and this mid-range spec’d handset will cost you just $79.99 after $50 mail-in-rebate, while the takers have to subscribe for a 2-year contract with the carrier, and qualifying “Classic” voice and data plan.
HTC Wildfire S is packed with the latest version of HTC Sense UI on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, powered by 600 MHz processor, boasting a 3.2-inch LCD screen with resolution of 320 X 480 pixels, equipped with 5 megapixel auto-focused camera with LED Flash, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, microSD card slot for support up to 32GB memory expansion, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, G-Sensor, 1230mAh battery, 3.5mm headset jack, Android Market and the whole host of T-Mobile and Google services.

T-Mobile branded HTC Wildfire S will be available in both white and black colored versions, while the White variant will be available at T-Mobile’s outlets, as well as the carrier’s online stores, the Black version will be available to purchase at T-Mobile, Walmart and Sam’s Club retail channels.
