Apparently there’s a new update available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. But we already know that the tablet runs the latest version of Android Honeycomb OS. The update is not the regular Android update but the tablet-specific TouchWizUX version to roll out by the manufacturer. Samsung has started rolling out the over the air update bringing the TouchWizUX user interface for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets. The new update will bring a set of live panel widgets, mini apps for multi-tasking, and much more. The update brings the following other features:

# Adobe Flash Player 10.3
# Redesigned Samsung Media Hub service with a new user interface and optimized video content.
# Media Hub Show – Users can playback Media Hub content on a TV through an HDMI cable from the Galaxy Tab 10.1 dock or adaptor.

Looks like it is a major update update for Tab 10.1. It’s also been confirmed that the update is ready for Verizon’s 4G LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. But, Verizon probably has to pass the update, and release a notification before they will push it out for the LTE tab.

After setting up the Samsung Account successfully, the users should see pop up notification on their tablets, asking them to accept the update. Otherwise, you can manually check the update by heading over to Apps –> Settings –> Touch About Tablet and then touch Software update –> select Update –> Tap OK –> Download –> and tap  Install button to begin the installation process. The update installation process should take a few minutes and should run smoothly.

If you don’t like the Honeycomb’s user interface, you should try this TouchWizUX for your tablet. You will just be impressed with the new features, and your Galaxy Tab 10.1 will run significantly faster. We also heard that Samsung has managed to "improve" the UI without completely ruining it.
