Acer has announced its Android powered stylish smartphone Acer Liquid Metal. It has been making news since many days and some of its details leaked few times online. The curvy designed Acer Liquid Metal equipped with metal on its body stainless steel of the battery cover.
Acer Liquid Metal sports Android 2.2 Froyo and Acer’s Breeze UI, which offers additional widgets even from the lock screen and running with 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor on board for ‘lightning fast navigation’.
Acer Liquid Metal features 3.6-inch capacitive LCD touch screen, Dolby digital surround, 5 Megapixels auto focus camera with LED flash & capable of capturing video at 720p HD @ 30 fps, quad-band 2G & tri-band 3G (with HSDPA), 802.11n Wi-Fi with DLNA/UPnP streaming support and Bluetooth 3.0
Liquid Metal can be used as a true wireless server for all home devices through DLNA/UPnP technology and it gives up to 14.4 Mbps HSDPA speeds. According to Acer, with Wi-Fi n, Liquid Metal is 10 times faster than previous devices and with HSDPA, Liquid Metal is 2 times faster than previous devices.
Acer Liquid Metal also feature SocialJogger app that aggregates Twitter and Facebook feeds. It sports LED signals on the upper part of the device to notify the missed calls, the need to charge the battery, and new incoming messages clearly.

Acer Liquid Metal smartphone will be launching in UK from mid November with Brown color coating for £299 and Silver Liquid Metal will arrive in early December.
