Sprint carriers CEO has announced that its Sprint ID service will be upgrading to Samsung Epic 4G and Samsung Galaxy Tab soon. Anyhow, Galaxy Tab will get this service by the time of its launch(which is going to happen on Nov 14) and Epic 4G will upgrade it in future software update. Previously, Sprint ID is destined for low-budget range smartphones LG Optimus T, Samsung Transform & Sanyo Zio.
Speaking in simple terms, Sprint ID service offers a shortcut built into the three-button layout at the bottom of Android 2.2, replacing the browser icon. This button will enable users to easily launch downloadable mobile ID Packs which will include themed apps, ringers, wallpapers, widgets and much more.
