As the tech world predicted earlier, Samsung has announced a couple of the new devices at IFA 2011 event in Berlin today. Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Note device, which can be treated as a super-sized Samsung Galaxy S II in terms of the specs and the hardware. Samsung Galaxy Note will be arriving packed with a bigger 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 1280 X 800 resolution delivering a pixel density of 285ppi, 180 degree viewing angle and there is a couple of 1.4GHz processors ticking inside the hood. Moreover, it supports Stylus pen.
Samsung Galaxy Note runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS flavored with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI customizations on top, 7 home screens, a touch-optimized interface, a set of pre-installed apps to take adavantage of the Stylus – S Planner, a native calendar, to-do list app and S Memo for note-taking, meanwhile, accepts voice, photo, text and handwritten input. It is also having ChatON text messaging service support.
Samsung Galaxy Note has also got an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capturing capability, video calling capable 2 megapixel camera to make video calls, micro USB, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, Wi-Fi Direct, Social Hub, Readers Hub , Music Hub, optional NFC, 150MB internal memory, 2GB microSD card included, microSD card slot to hold 32GB memory storage, 2500mAh battery and all the regular features of an Android phone.

Samsung hasn’t provided the information about the launch date and the price info of the Galaxy Note. And yah, most of the people has treated the 5-inch Dell Streak tablet as a tablet. So, is Galaxy Note a tablet or phone for you? More images and the video after the break.
