The HTC Runnymede handset is an Android OS powered handset, which is having all the high-end specifications and an up-to-date hardware on the board.
HTC Runnymede is expected to be shipping with the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and it will be sporting a bigger 4.7-inch Super-LCD touchscreen display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, powered by a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor, 768MB DDR2 RAM to speed up the device, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash, F2.2, 28mm lens, 720p HD video capturing capability with stereo audio recording, an additional 1.3 megapixel front-facer to make video calls, 16GB built-in internal memory storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, HSDPA with 14.4 Mbps peak rate, HSUP with 5.76 Mbps peak rate, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack, FM Radio, a 1600mAh battery, HTC Widget Manager, Android Market, a full host of the Google & the carrier services.
The HTC Runnymede will be among the first devices shipping with Beats Audio, which is HTC’s latest acquisition.

The HTC Runnymede handset’s launch date and the price information have yet to finalized officially. According to source, it expected to cost nearly $840 (530 pounds) for the 16GB model.
