Apple iPhone 5, iPhone 4S Placeholders On Cincinnati Bell Website

Today’s the 3rd of October and we are just one day away from Apple’s Let’s Talk iPhone event. The rumors and news about the next gen iPhone are keep rolling every now and then. It looks like Apple is gearing up to release a couple of iPhones at tomorrow’s event. A couple of days ago, we reported that Apple has released the iTunes 10.1 beta 9 build for developers. This new beta version is carrying an interesting source. There is a direct mention of the iPhone 4S inside the beta version (see the below image). Fuelling to these rumors, A U.S. regional carrier Cincinnati Bell’s official website have placed a couple placeholders for both the Apple iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 devices. The website has also provided the a few specifications of these both devices.

According to Cincinnati Bell, the Apple iPhone 4S, a cheaper, lower-capacity version of its last-gen iPhone and it is having a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera on the rear side and there will be a new A5 processor (dual-core?) ticking inside. Apple iPhone 5 will be having 32GB of storage, an 8 megapixel camera, 4-inch screen, and 4G speeds capable radio. The carrier is asking the users to pay $639.99 ($699.99 regular price) for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S handsets has been listed with an affordable $99.99 price tag ($400 regular price). Unfortunately, the source hasn’t provided any images of these both these handsets.

According to the description of iPhone 4S on the iTunes 10.5 beta, the device will be available in black CDMA, black GSM, white CDMA, white GSM variants.

So, the Cupertino firm is really prepping a new version of the iPhone 4? We are still unaware that whether there will be two variants of the new iPhone will be announced at the event or not.
