Update: AT&T is now selling the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket handset for just $149.99 in some regions.
Along with the announcement of the LTE capable HTC Vivid, AT&T unveiled its another first LTE capable Android OS powered phone, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Look, it’s the same version of the original Samsung Galaxy S II, but its has a couple of upgraded hardware particulars that we’ve already seen in the Samsung galaxy S II LTE handset. Just like HTC Vivid, the Samsung Galaxy S II Rocket will arrive online and at retail locations on November 6th for $249.99 with your signature on a two-year contract with the carrier. Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket will also be offered with two data plans for you to choose from. For $15 a month you can get 200MB of data or else you can also get 2GB of $25 per month.

AT&T launched its LTE network first in September for Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. With the availability of the HT Vivid and the Galaxy S II Skyrocket handsets, the LTE availability will be expanded to Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Athens, GA. MOre images after the break.
