Google has officially updated the Google+ app yesterday, bringing a completely new user interface of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich style. Now, two more Google apps have also updated officially. Aside from the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements, Android based Google Docs and Google Reader apps have got updated with Ice Cream Sandwich look written all over them. Both updated apps are now available to download from the Android Market right now.
Android Reader app now includes a clean new look, with more space, as well as an integration with Google+. It also incorporates swipe gesture controls for navigating within the app and between stories, as well as there are a few visual changes of Android 4.0 ICS style. In fact, the Google Reader app’s update doesn’t look all that different.
Coming to Google Docs update, it brings more optimizations for Honeycomb tablets, improved video playback as well as portrait and landscape modes. Information is now presented with new screen layouts and sharing options have auto complete added as well. It also includes a details panel that quickly shows you who has access to a certain file, as well as displaying a thumbnail. Newly updated Docs version resembles the look of the recently updated Google+ app.
