Verizon announced last month to carry the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset, but the release date is still mysterious to us. Shortly before hearing about the release date, a leak came our way claiming that the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered Galaxy Nexus might be releasing on November 17th. As it is a Verizon branded LTE capable, this handset should be priced at $299.99. Membership warehouse retailer Costco is set to sell the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
According to the leaked screenshot of Costco’s inventory system, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset will be available to purchase for $289.99 at Costco warehouse. That means you will get $10 discount on the original price tag of the handset. Of course, this is a contract based pricing and you should be committed with a new two-year contract agreement with Verizon Wireless. The leak hasn’t revealed the release date of the handset.
