PocketNow has received information on AT&t’s upcoming LTE capable Android smartphone. In early October, LG announced Optimus LTE handset for Korean market and just a few days ago, the Canadian Wireless company, Bell confirmed that it will be launching the LG Optimus Eye (aka Optimus LTE) with LTE capability. So any U.S. carrier would also launch this handset definitely. First press shot of the LG Nitro HD handset surfaced online. This handset is AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus LTE handset. It is indeed having the AT&T’s 4G LTE capability. Yes, this Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS powered handset is making its way to AT&T.
Specs wise, LG Nitro HD packs a 4.3-inch True HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels of resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Scorpion processor on a Snapdragon chipset with 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 1.3MP shooter up front. 4GB of internal storage, arriving with a 16GB microSD card, AT&T’s LTE capability, as well as their 21Mbs HSDPA network support and an 1830mAH battery.

There is no official word on the pricing and availability details of the LG Nitro HD handset for the moment.
