As promised earlier, another LTE capable smartphone, the HTC Rezound is now available for sale officially by Verizon today. Rezound is the HTC’s second LTE capable handset for Big Red network. HTC Rezound handset will cost you $299.99 on contract. The HTC Rezound supports blazing fast speeds, but its $299 price tag might be an impossible thing to pay for many budget goers. AT&T is also selling the new LTE phone for reasonable affordable price tags. A couple of the third party retailers, Wirefly and Walmart have slashed the price for the Rezound for a decent amount. It is now available for sale by Walmart for just $219.99 and Wirefly has it for $249.99. Buyers need to sign a new two-year contract with Verizon Wireless. The deal is significant because you will be getting the Beats ear cabled bundled with the retail box of the HTC Rezound handset.
Update: Amazon Wireless now is making it a cheaper LTE capable phone by offering it for a lower price tag beating the Walmart and Wirefly’s slashed price tags. The HTC Rezound handset can be acquired from Amazon at the moment for only $199.99 with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.
The HTC Rezound packs a 4.3-inche 720p screen with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal flash, a 16GB microSD card, an 8 megapixel main camera with “action burst” “instant capture” “panorama” settings, two-megapixel front-facer, 1080p HD video recording capability, LTE capability, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense 3.5 on top of it, Beats Audio integration, 4G Mobile Hotspot capability, 1620mAh battery and much more.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update will be rolled out in early 2012.
