We already reported about FCC’s testing procedures of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 with AT&T LTE bands. As we predicted earlier, AT&T has officially announced that it is prepping to launch the lTE capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablet to the States side. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE will hit the AT&T retail markets and online stores beginning November 20th for $479.99 on a two-year contract agreement.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with TouchWiz UX, sporting an 8.9-inch brilliant HD display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolution, Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core processor ticking inside, 1GB of RAM, 3.2 MP rear-facing camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera to make video calls. 16GB internal flash storage, memory expansion support up to 32GB via microSD cards, Bluetooth 3.0, 1080p HD video playback, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, DLNA functionality, Flash Player 10.2, Samsung Mini Apps Tray, Social Hub, Reader’s Hub, Music Hub and a 6000mAh battery.

The LTE data plans for AT&T tablets: 250MB for $14.99, 2GB for $25, or 3GB for $35.

In addition, AT&T announced further expansion of its LTE network, which will cover the following locations:

Athens, Ga., Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston , Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C.
