In late October, AT&T has introduced one of its LTE capable handset Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket handset, together with other LTE capable HTC Vivid handset. A few days ago, AT&T’s white version of the Galaxy S II Skyrocket handset’s press shot surfaced online. But, we always like to hear an official announcement form the carrier. Finally, AT&T came forward with the official details of the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket in full white color and not just the back panel. AT&T has confirmed that white version of the Samsung Skyrocket will be available to purchase from December 4th. Features are exactly same as the black variant and price remains the same $249.99, while the buyers need to sign a new two-year contract agreement. But, AT&T has sold the black variant for just $149.99 in most of the regions in the U.S.

AT&T’s 4G LTE capable White Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and the carrier has confirmed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update, though it will be rolled out in 2012. other specs are including 4.5” 480 X 800 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, 2 megapixel shooter on front side, 16GB eMMC, memory expansion up to 32GB via microSD cards, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack.
