The LG Spectrum is a 4G LTE capable handset for Verizon, which is the successor of the previous LG Revolution handset, having all the high-end specifications and solid hardware under the hood. It is also known as LG Revolution 2.
LG Spectrum runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS with a guarantee that it will see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade shortly after, sporting a 4.5″ IPS LCD HD screen with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 1080p HD video recording capable 8 megapixel main camera, an additional front-facing shooter to assist in your video chatting needs, 4GB eMMC, 16GB microSD card inserted with memory expansion support up to 32GB, HDMI, 4G LTE Mobile hotspot shares up to 10 connections, simultaneous voice and LTE data, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 2.0, FM radio, Verizon apps, Google services, 1830mAh battery plus all the regular features of an Android phone.
LG Spectrum will also come preinstalled with an exclusive HD ESPN Scorecenter content, a set of HD video editing tools, the Netflix HD service and an optional 3000mAh extended battery available at launch.
