It looks like Samsung is going to stand on its promise about bring the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS build for the Samsung Galaxy S II, along with other Galaxy branded devices in early 2012. The latest reports are claiming that Samsung has started testing the Android 4.0 ICS build on the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II (I-9100) handset. The enterprising folks at SamMobile managed to port it on SGS II I-9100 handset. As this is the Custom build of the Android 4.0.1 build (I9100XXKP1), users are advised to not to flash this build on their Galaxy S II handsets as this is probably not the Release-ready build of the Android 4.0 ICS OS will be pushing out by the manufacturer and it could use a little more polish and needs access to all the required files, as well as apps.
