Good news for Samsung-made Google Nexus S owners. Via its @GoogleNexus Twitter feed, Google has announced that they have started rolling out the Android 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich OS from today. The OTA update will be rolling out for the rest of the month. Currently, the update is being pushed out the GSM/UMTS capable Samsung Nexus S handsets.
Although the update rolls out OTA (over the air), it will probably take some time until all Nexus S users will be able to upgrade to Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Google has provided any details of Android ICS update for Sprint’s CDMA capable Nexus S 4G handsets, but it should be rolling out in the coming weeks and it shouldn’t be long to take the roll out process officially
Here is the tweet from Google:

Google Nexus S owners will be seeing an OTA (Over-The-Air) update notification about Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update on their handsets at any time. If you want to force for the update manually, you should move to Home –> Settings –> About Phone –> System Updates and then tap on “Update Firmware” or “Update Android” and the updates will be automatically downloaded to your phone –> If update found –> Follow the on-screen instructions and lets upgrade process gets finished successfully.
You can also dial *#*#checkin#*#* (or) *#*#2432546#*#* on your Nexus S handset to check for update, you will then see a yellow exclamation icon in the notification (or different icon) bar to alert you the update is available for your handset.
Google has also posted the nice tips for Nexus S users regarding Android 4.0 ICS goodies on Nexus S supports page (hit the link), explaining the features and giving tips on the topics such as how to change the wallpaper, add a widget, Create Folders, view recently launched apps, Swipes and much more.

I have uploaded the file to my sd card however when I select recovery I get to choose the folder that my files are in but I only see folders and not a specific file to load, It does not seem that I can actually click on a file, am I doing some thing wrong ?
I select recovery then the folder that has the copied files inside then that takes me to the sub directory of files which are META-INF, Patch,Recovery and System.
If I click on any of those folders it takes me to other folders or the end of that directory ?
Any advice ?
