We already knew that Motorola was getting ready to join Verizon to bring another 4G LTE capable smartphone to the United States. Yeah, we are talking about the Motorola Droid 4. Of course, we are also hearing the rumors about the Droid RAZR MAXX handset, which is an extended version of the Droid RAZR. We’ve been seeing the leaked images, specs details of the Motorola Droid 4, but the carrier has yet to announce the handset’s existence officially. Well, it looks like, Droid 4 is set to be released this week. Previous leaks had suggested December 22nd as the probable release date for this handset. And today the fresh leak is also showing that the Motorola Droid 4 will be releasing on December 22nd, Thursday. That means we are just two days away from the D-Day.
The Android Gingerbread 2.3.5-powered Motorola Droid 4 is bringing a physical QWERTY keyboard option to Verizon 4G LTE and offers 4-inch qHD display with 960 X 540 resolution, powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, while the DDR2 RAM clocks in at 1GB, 8MP rear facing camera, front facing HD shooter, 1080p HD video recording capability, 16GB internal storage with memory expansion support up to 32GB, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 1785mAh battery and much more.
