Own a brand new Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet? Asus has started pushing out a new firmware update for the Transformer Prime tablet. Unfortunately, this is not the most awaited Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS update that you are eagerly looking for. The new firmware update will bump software version number to 8.8.3.33-20111223. This is just a minor update. The new firmware update 8.8.3.33 update will bring the more responsive touchscreen. Some of the users are also getting camera ISP firmware update for some reason, which is being heard that camera’s launching is much faster now, as well as improved focus. .
Other changes are including – fix for ASUS logo shaking issue, AP compatibility improvement, enhanced GPS speed and MyZine Widget will be removed from desktop.

# Asus Transformer Prime users will be asked to accept the update through an OTA notification.
# Accept it –> Device reboots automatically.
# Now you will see a green Android robot holding gears.
# Now you will see ASUS logo for over 8 minutes.
# After logging into, you will be asked to aceept another new firmware update. Accept it to download and install.
# Now you will notice another update notice for Camera. Accept it just follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it in just 2 minutes.

Settings –> About Tablet –> System Firmware Update and then press the Check for Updates button.
