Verizon is set to announce LG Spectrum (the successor of the previous LG Revolution) at CES 2012 event, which is just around the corner. We are sure that LG Spectrum information is what has been leaked in a variety of leaks, should match up to what LG announces at the event. LG Spectrum is going to competing with Verizon’s other premium priced Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Motorola Droid RAZR handsets. So, we’ve decided to come with a specs comparison chart of the LG Spectrum handset against the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS featuring Samsung Galaxy Nexus and one of the slimmest Motorola Droid RAZR handsets. The reality is the 3 handsets are that each phone is featuring dual-core processor, 720p display (except Droid RAZR), a powerful camera, 4G LTE capability and most of the other specs are same.
Display
Both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Spectrum are capable of handling 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, while the Motorola Droid RAZR is rocking qHD display. Galaxy Nexus is sporting an awesome 4.65-inch Super HD AMOLED display with Pentile Matrix arrangement, boasting 316ppi. LG Spectrum comes with 4.5-inch True HD IPS display at 329ppi, which beats out the 326ppi on the Apple iPhone 4S. It has got a Real Stripe pixel arrangement, which 1.4 times sharper than PenTile.
Motorola Droid RAZR is lagging behind a bit, sporting a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display with 540 X 960 resolution at 256ppi.

LG Spectrum has has been clocked higher with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor, while the Galaxy Nexus and Droid RAZR have got 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4460 and 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processors respectively.
Camera
Both the Motorola Droid RAZR and LG Spectrum handsets are having high-end 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, while the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has got a 5 megapixel main camera, which can also shoot 1080p HD videos. You should also note that Motorola DROID RAZR shoots a 1080p video at the rate of 29 frames per second, but Galaxy Nexus can be able to record 1080p HD videos at 24 frames per second only. But, Galaxy Nexus has native support for panoramic photo shooting and features a zero shutter lag, which are not available for both Droid RAZR and LG Spectrum devices.

Memory
LG Spectrum is believed to come with 4G on-board memory storage and 16GB microSD card pre-installed, while the Motorola Droid RAZR comes with 16GB on-board memory storage with memory expansion support up to 32GB via micrSD cards. Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy Nexus isn’t having microSD card slot, but it has got a big 32GB on-board storage. Each of these handsets has got 1GB of RAM to keep things running.
Battery Life
Samsung Galaxy Nexus has got a 1850mAh battery providing up to 12 hours of talk-time, and Motorola Droid RAZR’s 1780mAh battery will provide 12.5 hours of talk-time, while LG Spectrum’s 1830mAh battery is expected to provide 8.3 hours of talk-time only.
