Huawei Ascend P1 S is World’s Slimmest Phone At Just 6.88mm [CES 2012]

At CES 2012 event in Las Vegas, the Chinese manufacturer has officially launched a new Android OS powered handset Huawei Ascend P1 S. Surprisingly, it beats the Motorola Droid RAZR in terms of its thickness. Huawei Ascend is now the world’s slimmest smartphone, measuring just 6.68 thickness. Huawei Ascend P1 S packs all the revolutionary specs and solid hardware under the hood, so that it can compete with other high-end spec’d smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S II, Motorola Droid RAZR and etc. Moreover, it will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS on the board.

Huawei has also announced another Android phone – Huawei Ascend P1, which has got all the same specs and hardware internals as that of the Huawei Ascend P1 S, but it is measuring 7.69mm thickness, powered by 1670mAh battery.

Huawei will release the Ascend P1 S phone in the the second quarter of this year in Asia-Pacific, North America, Australia, the Middle East and China. The manufacturer has yet to announce the price tag of this handset.
