Along with the A&T branded Sony Xperia Ion handset’s announcement, the manufacturer has also announced the Sony Xperia S at CES event in Las Vegas. Joining the new Xperia NXT series, Xperia S has got all the notable high-end specifications. There is a transparent notification strip at the bottom of the phone, housing the antenna under the hood.

Sony Xperia S will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS in q2 of 2012 and it is set launched in the U.K. by this March through Three UK and O2 networks. Phones4U will pick the white version of the Xperia S handset. No word the price info.
