Samsung Galaxy S II handset has become a very popular one in the U.S. and it looks like it’s finally gonna arrive on U.S. Cellular network. We’ve been hearing about reports about the launch of the Android OS powered Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices. Now we’ve one more confirmation for U.S Cellular’s Galaxy S II device. A Samsung Galaxy S II handset has passed FCC certification with U.S Cellular radio in tow, bearing the model number SCH-R760.
Samsung Galaxy S II features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, an 8 megapixel shooter on back side, that can shoot 1080p HD videos, running Android 2.3.x Gingerbread OS. We don’t have any idea about the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update. But, don’t be surprised if the U.S Cellular variant comes shipped with Android ICS build, as the official ROMs of the Android 4.0.3 ICS build have been leaking online for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II I1900 handset. Under the hood, there will be a dual-core processor.
