Just now, we reported about the official launch of the White Nokia Lumia 800 handset. Today, Samsung has also officially announced the White iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset. In fact, there were several rumors concerning a white version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, appeared at the beginning of this year with official renders. Finally, confirming all the previous rumors and leaks, the White variant of the Galaxy Nexus handset has been officially launched by Sammy. It will be hitting the stores across the U.K. on next Monday, February 13th.
As you can see in the above images, White Galaxy Nexus coming with its back and sides painted in white, while the front side of the device remain unchanged in the same black glass with the camera placement ending up silver rather. The pricing of the white version should be same as the black version.
White Galaxy Nexus is the same handset that’s been available in black version. That means the internals and specs will remain unchanged, packing a 4.65 “ Super HD AMOLED display with 720 X 1280 pixels, running “pure” Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, HSPA+ connectivity, NFC functionality, ‘Face Unlock’ feature, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, 1750mAh battery, 16GB/32GB internal storage, but no micro SD card slot under the hood.

There is no word o the possibility of the White version of the Verizon branded LTE Galaxy Nexus and the upcoming Sprint branded LTE Galaxy Nexus handset.
