Now, we came with another article pitching the recently launched Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700 Series against the new iPad tablet. Both the the new iPad and Transformer Pad Infinity tablets are perfect companions to compete with each other.

One of the biggest highlights to mark since the final quarter of the last year was definitely the rise of the Android quad-core beasts with massive HD displays. But, the new iPad has over a million more pixels than HDTV.

The New Apple iPad

The New Apple iPad is one of the most pixel-packed tablet, which has got a 9,7-inch Retina Display with 2048x1536p resolution and there are 264 pixels per inch in this display, and that’s enough to call it a Retina Display.It comes with iOS 5.1 preinstalled, an improved A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, a 5-megapixel backside illuminated sensor with five-element lens,infra-red filter, 1080p video recording capability, 4G LTE capability with speeds of 3.1Mbps on EV-DO, 7.2 on HSPA. It lasts up to 10 hours on GSM operation and 9 hours on 4G LTE. The new Apple iPad is 9.4 mm thick and weighs 652 g (Wi-Fi-only) / 662 grams (Wi-Fi+4G). Apple claims that graphics are 4 times faster than what’s inside an Nvidia Tegra 3.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700 Series

The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity comes in both the Wi-Fi and 3G/4G LTE editions. The Wi-Fi edition is having a potentially powerful 1.6GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 T3 (4 x Cortex A9) quad-core processor, while the 4G LTE edition ships with 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 (2 x Krait) dual-core processor under the hood.

It runs the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS latest Waveshare UI on top of it, sporting a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display with 1920 X 1200 pixels of resolution, 1GB RAM, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with f2.2 & 5 element lens, an additional 2 megapixel front shooter for forwarding video chats, 1080p HD video recording capability, 16GB to 64GB memory storage support, 4G LTE 100Mbps connectivity, 3.5mm jack, micro-HDMI output, microSD card reader , Bluetooth 2.1, enhanced 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, 25WHr battery, Keyboard dock support.
