We’ve already heard about the unannounced “DROID Fighter” a couple of times, but we couldn’t confirm if this Droid Fighter is a device from Motorola or HTC or Samsung. It looks like we’ve got our answer now. A new image of a Motorola handset has been leaked over Phone Hk forums and they are referring it as Motorola Droid Fighter.
According to the source, the Motorola DROID Fighter will sport 4.6-inch HD screen with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution and it may also have the on-screen soft keys jus like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset. They have also mentioning that the Motorola DROID Fighter will ship with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS preinstalled on it. Motorola has already released the a version of the RAZR with a beautiful HD display and 13MP camera for China. They have also mentioned that Moto’s Droid Fighter will have the same 3300mAh battery of the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX handset to provide much longer battery life. So, the Droid Fighter could end up as a Motorola handset and it would be the 3rd edition of the RAZR line-up with an upgraded HD display running Ice Cream Sandwich OS. You can also observe in the image that the Droid Fighter is looking like the RAZR handset.
A leaked screenshot has already suggested that the Droid Fighter is set to release on April 12th. It’s worth noting that we cannot confirm that the Droid Fighter is a Motorola device until we actually hear official word from Verizon or Motorola.
