Dell has confirmed that the Android 2.2 Froyo updates will be rolling out in next year to the Dell Streak tablets, which are AT&T SIM-locked units. So users who purchased the Dell Streak tablet from AT&T will have to wait until next month January. Dell has already rolling-out Froyo updates to the Streak devices in UK since last month. Currently Dell Streak running on out-dated Android version 1.6 Donut.

Dell Streak sports 5 inch WVGA capacitive touch screen with Gorilla Glass display, Android 1.6, 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor, 5 Megapixels rear camera & a front facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.2, USB 2.0 and much more.

So users who have been waiting for Froyo updates which are actually scheduled to roll out in December, have to wait for some more weeks. Dell has also stated that it will continue to work with AT&T to bring the Froyo upgrades in soon.
