Sprint and HTC Will Hold A Joint Event On April 4th; May Announce HTC One X

 

HTC and Sprint's "Latest Collaboration" On April 4th

We already heard from Sprint insiders that the carrier may announce its plans to launch the the brand new HTC One X handset, which has been made official at this year Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. Now, the media outlets have begun receiving invitations, being invited from Sprint and HTC for a joint event that will be help on April 4th in New York City. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and HTC President Jason Mackenzie will be there. But, the invitation didn’t mention about the subject of the event, which remains a mystery.

Sprint’s version of the HTC One X is expected to go on sale, codenamed “Jet” and Sprint may start selling the HTC One X from June 10th. According to the previous report, Sprint’s version of the HTC One X handset will be powered by a Qualcomm dual-core chip (it should be Snapdragon S4 “Krait” ) and it will be third LTE capable device from Sprint behind the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Viper, which are yet to be released out. It is also being heard that Sprint may release it as HTC EVO LTE.

HTC One X will have a 4.6-inch high-definition display, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with the new HTC Sense 4.0 UI, a class-leading 8-megapixel camera powered by HTC’s dedicated ImageChip system and much more.
