It seems Verizon is gearing up to release most awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS updates for the Motorola Droid RAZR/Droid RAZR Maxx and HTC Rezound handsets very soon. According to a mysterious email received by Android Central (pictured below), the Android ICS update for these both these should happen as early as next week. You can see in the above image that Verizon is set to roll out the Android 4.0 ICS update for the both the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx edition (16/32GB) on April 4th.
HTC Rezound owners will get the Android 4.0 ICS update just two days later (barley) on April 6th. So, that’s a big relief for those Droid RAZR/Maxx and HTC Rezound owners who are eagerly looking for their handsets to get updated with the latest Android OS version. A couple of days, Google has rolled out the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for the GSM capable Samsung Galaxy Nexus handsets along with the GSM Nexus S and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi devices. But, no love for Verizon branded Galaxy Nexus LTE handset yet.
The source has also mentioned according to their sources, they have concluded that the below Best Buy leak is credible and update roll out should happen as per those dates set out.
