Asus-made Google Nexus Tablet Coming this July; May Cost $250: Rumors

Google Nexus Tablet's July Release Rumors

The search giant was expected to officially announce the first details of the first-ever Google Nexus Tablet in May, but we are now hearing that it has been delayed. According to a reliable source, the Google Nexus tablet, which is being developed in cooperation with Asus will not make its appearance until this July. The exact reason for the delay is yet to be revealed out. Perhaps, Google needs a few more months to get everything ready to go.

It is also being heard that Google is planning to ship the first Nexus tablet (whatever Google or Asus calls it) with next version of the Android OS v 5.0 Jelly Bean. Many carriers and manufacturers have yet to upgrade their devices with the latest version of Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.x. So, the rumor about Jelly Bean OS powered Nexus tablet is completely false. However, some sources are saying that the 7-inch Nexus tablet is being redesigned in an effort to reduce its cost or else it could be priced for $249, rather than $150 to $200.

Recent rumor has suggested that the Asus-made Nexus tablet will sport a 10-inch touchscreen display. It is expected to be shipped with Android 4.0 ice Cream Sandwich OS, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, Wi-Fi connectivity. Google will sure to announce hotly anticipated at the upcoming Google I/O event, if they are really planning to release it in July.
