Google Nexus Tablet Leak

PhoneArena has obtained a couple of press images of an announced Asus device and believes that this could be the the Google’s Asus-made Nexus tablet that we will see at Google I/O event this month. The source has learned from another reliable source that Google’s first ever Nexus tablet is reported to be running Android 4.1 OS, which is expected to be named Jelly Bean.

The source has also mentioned the 7-inch Google Nexus tablet will ship with Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. You can see that the tablet is featuring an all-white front and the reverse side is showing off a two-toned grey and black piece with Asus branding on the bottom side and a speaker. There’s a camera on the front-side of the device and a big round on the back signalling a rear-facing primary camera. According to the tipster, the upcoming Android 4.1 version is an incremental update to Android 4.0, but not a complete overhaul (same as Android 2.0 Froyo to Android 2.1 Eclair).

Google I/O is just 3 months away, so stay tuned. What do you think about these images?
