Verizon’s HTC 1080p 5-inch Android This Fall

In the coming months, HTC is looking to bring a couple of Android handsets in the U.S. While AT&T is expected to carry the LTE capable quad-core Tegra 3 powered Android, Verizon is rumored to launch a super powerhouse, HTC-made 5-inch super monster phone with new model number HTC6435, codenamed “dlx.” The previous Benchmerking results have revealed that HTC6435 comes with a very high resolution of 1794 x 1080 pixels, but not “full 1920×1080 resolution.”

According to DigiTimes, HTC is planning to release this Note-like 1080p Android beast sometime in September or October. The handset is also expected to ne powered by a quad-core Krait processor and Adreno 320 GPU., as well as a Scribe pen But, the GLBenchmark’s results are talking about Snapdragon MSM8960,dual-core processor. It could be also shipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, paired up with new Adreno 320 GPU inside.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may carry a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution with Samsung’s own quad-core Exynos processor that was found in the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. The Galaxy Note 2 will be officially announced at IFA in Germany on August 29th. Could HTC’s 5-inch “dlx” phone with an insane display manage to give Note 2 a run?
