Sprint Nexus S 4G Now Jelly Bean JRO03R Update

Late last Thursday, Sprint started rolling out the Jelly Bean update (FH05) for its Samsung Galaxy Nexus handsets. We also talked about the manual installation process of JB for GNex handset. Users that are left wondering about the Sprint branded Samsung-made Google Nexus S 4G handsets have finally got something good to look forward to. If you are wondering, Nexus S 4G is, in face, receiving its Jelly Bean treat now, according to the documents on Sprint’s Nexus S 4G support page. The update was supposed to roll out on September 6th along with the Galaxy Nexus handset’s OTA roll out.

Sprint has mentioned that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update (JRO03R) will be pushed out over-the-air (OTA) only and it will releasing in phases over a 10-21 day period. Here are the release notes of the Jelly bean update for the Nexus S 4G handset:

So, head over to hit Settings –> System Firmware Update –> Check Update and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the upgrading process successfully.
