Is it iOS or iLost? Google Motorola Mobility Mocks iOS 6 Maps

We have been reporting about the iOS 6 and its new Maps App. Well, you might have already read, the new map is not going down well with the users. There are many difficulties faced in using it because of its ill-informed view unlike in Google Maps where there is information overload.

Apple’s bid to discard the Google’s Map app is viewed as a selfish act of rivalry. It seems Google has already developed its Map app for iOS 6 but Apple is not giving its nod of approval. Apple says, with time it will get better, the only problem is users are getting impatient. We also feel that if Apple has any problem with Google or its Android OS, they should sort it out in the court of law like they did with Samsung, instead of victimizing their own users.

Like everyone else, folks at Google too aren’t happy with the new iOS Map. Motorola Mobility (now owned by Google) has expressed the disliking, where they compare Google’s Map and Apple’s Map in on DROID RAZR M and iPhone respectively. In their twitter page, “Looking for 315 E 15th in Manhattan? Google Maps on DROID RAZR M will get you there & not #iLost in Brooklyn”. Well you already saw the difference for yourself in the above pic.

Other than Motorola Mobility, lots and lots of other people are showing their hatred over the new Apple Map. Now the London Underground (Tube) officials are distributing Maps for free only to iOS 6 users! See the pic below.

Not only this, now the Apple Maps data supplier, TomTom seems to have distanced itself out from the Maps App.
