HTC had announced its two new devices One X+ and One VX on the 2nd October early morning. After the announcement AT&T has also made a confirmation to choose HTC One X+ and HTC One VX. But for the moment AT&T will be rolling out One X+ on its carrier first, One VX will follow in later months.
AT&T HTC One X+ will be available only in black color. The device will be rolling out with Android 4.1Jelly Bean and a 1.7 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 Processor, which is an upgrade from the earlier model HTC One X with Quad-Core 1.5GHz processor. One X+ is embedded with non-expandable 64 GB internal memory with 2,100mAh battery of powerful and longer life.
The mid-range HTC One VX is also not less from HTC One X and One X+, with new design, One VX has a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 8GB of expandable storage, 4.5 –inch qHD display and a 5-megapixel camera. But oddly it is going to launch on Android 4.0 instead of the new Android 4.1.
After all AT&T will still carry on the previous model One X at a price less than that of One X+. Well the One X and One X+ have very similar features and the upgrade is minimal.
Price of the new HTC devices are not yet announced officially but according to a UK Carrier ‘O2’ brochure, it will cost £479.99 on a pay as you go plan. And for the availability HTC One X+ handset is set to launch in Europe and North Asia this month. For the other regions, the device might arrived in November and later.
