Earlier this month we have heard a rumor that the pricing of the Motorola RAZR HD LTE would start at $99.99 through Rogers Wireless. At that time, we didn’t know how far the reported news was reliable. Now, official news have confirmed the pricing and availability.
Rogers and Motorola Mobility introduced the RAZR HD LTE in Canada yesterday. Motorola RAZR HD LTE is available today for $99.99 with a 3-year contract, as earlier predicted. Rogers Wireless carrier also offers $499.99 CAD on a two-year plan and $549.99 CAD with a one year agreement. It also offers a plan for those customers who do not wish to commit to a long-term-contract, will be able to buy the RAZR HD LTE for no less than $599.99 CAD.
Motorola RAZR HD LTE is packed with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, but the Jelly Bean update would be available for download soon.
The smartphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel (rear) and 1.3 (front) camera, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, 1GB of RAM and 12GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD slot card and high-capacity 2530 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Another strong point of this smartphone is the large 4.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
