LG Optimus G Sprint

Along with the Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 10.1 tablet and a mid-range spec’d LG Mach handset, Sprint has also announced the super powerhouse, the LG Optimus G. Just like other two devices, the Optimus G will also come packed with Sprint’s 4G LTE connectivity. Look for it in the stores by he end of this fall.

Sprint branded LG Optimus G is an almost exact match to the international Optimus G and AT&T’s version. The only difference between AT&T and Sprint variants is – a massive 13MP rear camera for Sprint edition, while AT&T will get the device with an 8MP snapper.

If you need a specs refresher, LG Optimus G packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, and it boasts a 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 2100mAh battery, NFC operations, as well as other improved suite of software features.

LG Optimus G Full Specifications.

This is indeed a great phone and its processor is 40% more efficient and powerful than any other quad-core processor on the market. It’s bezel is only 3mm thick. This handset’s camera has got some unique features called Time Catch Shot and Cheese Shutter. You can capture the images just by saying “cheese.” Since it’s an LTE capable device, it should also release on Verizon network. but, the Big Red network hasn’t announced any of its plans to launch this beast yet.

Sprint has also announced a new Plug-in-Connect Tri-Mode USB that gets you Sprint 3G/4G/4G LTE directly to a laptop through a USB connection. It works like an Ethernet cable. The carrier has kept mum on the launch date and the price information of the LG Optimus G at the moment. We hope it will not be a long wait though. Customers are required to subscribe for “Sprint Everything Data plans starting at just $79.99 per month (taxes and fees excluded) with Truly Unlimited data, text and calling to any mobile.“
