Today Tokyo based Mobile Corporation, NTT DOCOMO announced its winter lineup of 16 models for launch. Within 16 models, NTT DOCOMO introduces a huge release of Android devices with 9 smartphones and a tablet. The carrier plans to launch the devices in or after November.
Among the devices, the Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can draw the biggest attention for sales. In terms of hardware specifications, they’re very similar as well.
They are powered by an Exynos 4412 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 100mbps LTE networking and both are launching with Android 4.1 on board with Super AMOLED 720×1280 screens. The 9 smartphones and the tablet are compatible with DOCOMO’s Xi (“crossy”) LTE service for maximum downlinks of 100 Mbps. All smartphones equipped for Osaifu-Keitai (mobile wallet) NFC services, including newly added smart applications.

The Galaxy Note 2 will be launching in November, with the Galaxy S3 to follow in December. Yet there is no pricing information for these devices.
