By now, it seems that a LG Nexus 4 handset is all but confirmed. Every day it seems we have a new LG Nexus 4 leaks of some sort to share with you, and today it happens again. Ahead of Google’s Android event on the October 29th, there’s additional confirmation about this handset. The phone pictured in the above image is LG Nexus 4. Thanks to @evleaks, courtesy of Twitter, who has released the new image and specs information, which lines up with all the previous rumors we’ve been hearing.
Here’s what he has to say about the LG Nexus 4:
# Ships with Android “JB MR1”
# 4.7-inch 1280×768 display
# 9.1mm thick body
# Quad-core APQ8064 processor paired up with 2GB RAM
# 8MP camera on back side and there’s a 1.3MP shooter on front side
# 8GB or 16GB internal storage
# 2100mAh battery (which could be non removable)
So, the notorious @evleaks Twitter account has also confirmed the existence of the LG Nexus 4 handset and we can assume that Google will make it official at its event on October 29th, where Google schedules an Android press conference in New York City. Latest rumors have also believed the same. Google is also expected to announce the 32GB Nexus 7 edition for $249.99 at the same event and we may see price drop for the 16GB Nexus 7 edition, which suggests us that Google is considering to dump the 8GB edition of the tablet.
We’ve already seen the 32GB Nexus 7 poster (pictured below), and a registration page for the 32GB edition on Spain based Carphone Warehouse website, and it is now currently in stock at Staples stores.
Nexus 7 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, sporting a 7-inch IPS display covered in “Scratch-resistant Corning glass” with 1280×800 pixels of resolution, 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 1.2MP front-facing camera, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, NFC functionality, 4325mAh battery and more.
10 more days to go and you can be sure we will be all over the LG Nexus 4 and the new variant of the Nexus 7 tablet, as well as all other new features of Android OS.
