Canadian Wireless carrier Rogers might be the first carrier in the world to get Nokia Lumia 920, which is running Windows Phone 8 Operating System. The device will be priced at $99.99 (CAD) with a three-year contract or $549.99 (CAD) on a monthly plan. Unfortunately, the device will be available in Black color only.
Yesterday Rogers announced that the Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows Phone 8 will go on sale today. If you see, this is almost immediate as Windows Phone 8 was officially announced just yesterday at San Francisco.
Slightly more than a week ago, US wireless carrier AT&T had already started pre-order for the much rumored devices including Nokia Lumia 920 at Best Buy stores. Interested customers can place their orders on the Lumia 920 for $149.99 and would require signing a two-year contract with the carrier. The device is expected hit the stores on Sunday, November 4.
Moreover, EE carrier in UK is now ready and prepared for its 4G roll-out. When the store opens today, the carrier will sell seven 4G handsets including Nokia Lumia 920. The handset would be available to buy when the network goes live on the 30th October, today. EE’s deal includes the handset for a reasonable £50 up-front fee, plus £41 a month on a 24-month and 1GB internet data. EE will get an exclusive white version.
We also hope that the handset will soon be available with different carriers around the world.
