HTC DROID DNA Hits the FCC with Verizon LTE Bands

HTC DROID DNA Hits FCC

Just in case you are wondering about a 5-inch HTC Phone on Verizon, the FCC has given us good evidence that it is indeed coming to the Big red network in the near future. A couple of days ago, we mentioned about the leaked press shot of the upcoming HTC DROID DNA handset for Verizon Wireless. The LTE edition of the still-unannounced HTC Droid DNA, also known as the HTC “dlx”, has been given the thumbs-up from the FCC. The device passed through the FCC labs, which is compatible with Verizon’s CDMA and LTE bands. The model number is PL83200 and SKU version is HTC6435LVW.

As always, the FCC label will be residing on the back panel of the handset. Here’s the quick view of the specs of the HTC Droid DNA:

# 5″ 1080p Full HD display
# Pixel density of 400ppi
# Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
# 2GB RAM
# 8MP camera to record 1080p HD videos
# 16GB internal storage
# NFC and 4G LTE connectivity

And the device come Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS installed. We’re quite certain Droid DNA will be available in late November or early December and users are expected to pick it up for $199 on a 2-year contract with Verizon. We are just left waiting for Verizon to make it official.
