Less than a week earlier, we reported that Samsung ATIV Odyssey might have passed the FCC, now the leaky evleaks has posted a photo of this device.
Though the Samsung ATIV Odyssey is expected to be hitting the Federal Communication Commission, till now no source has produced any possible images for this device. But today evleaks has uploaded a photo in Twitter. It appears to be the very first photo of the new device.
Earlier, a Samsung device bearing model no SCH-i930 passed the FCC. That time, it was considered that the device code number was increasing up from the SCH-i920 which is the Verizon’s Samsung Omnia II. Therefore assuming the ATIV Odyssey and Samsung SCH-i930 are same, ATIV Odyssey might have hit the FCC.
As seen in the leaked photo, the device has a similar appearance to Samsung ATIV S handset. As we reported earlier, it is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 MP rear Camera with 1080pixel High Definition video recording capability , 2 MP camera on front side and 16 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD slot card. The device also includes 4G LTE, NFC and more.
The device was officially announced by Microsoft on its event of launching Windows Phone 8 including a number of Windows Phone 8 devices for Nokia, HTC and Samsung. The device running windows Phone 8 operating system will be exclusive to Verizon network. It will be available in December.
