Cricket Communications announced its first premium 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Optimus Regard, also known as LW 770. The carrier has already started offering the device from November 14 without contract.
South Korean mobile manufacturer’s LG Optimus Regard has a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a powerful 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery, 5.0 Megapixel rear-facing camera and camcorder with LED Flash and VGA front-facing camera. The smartphone also includes additional features like Dolby Mobile, DLNA, Wi-Fi Capable, Stereo Bluetooth, Mobile Hotspot and tethering supports up to five devices.
The Optimus Regard will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and there is no information till now whether LG or Cricket will upgrade the device to Jelly Bean or not. The memory size of the device is also currently unknown.

- Cricket’s 4G LTE speed is double times the monthly full speed data allowance offered in 3G rate plans. The carrier is now offering three different data plans. The $50 4G LTE Android Double Data rate plan allows 2GB of full-speed data; the $60 plan gives 5GB of full-speed data and the $70 plan offers 10GB of full-speed data.
The LG Optimus Regard is now available at Cricket stores, dealers and online for $249.99.
