Last month, we reported that a set of alleged images of the Huawei Ascend W1 have popped up online. Today, more pictures of the handset are discovered from a twitter account.
Earlier in mid-October, evleaks published a press shot showing off the front and back sides of the Ascend W1 handset with Windows Phone 8 branding on its start button and also got the same logo on rear side and the camera pattern of this device was looking identical to the HTC One X handset’s camera housing.
So far, a set of the Windows Phone 8 powered devices have been already unveiled including the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820, Samsung ATIV S, HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S. Among them, the Chinese mobile manufacturer Huawei is also becoming to compete the rivals by introducing its Windows Phone 8 device.
The Huawei Ascend W1 running Windows Phone 8 is expected to be equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a 4 inch WVGA display. 512MB of RAM is on board along with 4GB of internal storage. There will be rear and front-facing cameras of 5MP and 3MP respectively and a 2000mAh battery.
In the previous leaked, the device was pictured in cyan color. But this time, the device was photographed in white and black color. The device will probably be available in Europe and Asia on T-Mobile carrier and Huawei Ascend W1 may debut at CES 2013.
