Nokia Lumia 510 Caught Running Windows Phone 7.8

A couple of days ago, we reported about the possible features of the upcoming Windows Phone 7.8 update for those who purchased their Windows Phone 7 device before the middle of this year. There’s still no confirmation or concrete launch date for the Windows Phone 7.8 update roll out. A video from a Chinese website, Winp.cn, demonstrated the upcoming Windows Phone refresh on Nokia Lumia 510 handset, which is the latest addition to the Finnish mobile maker’s Lumia Windows Phones.

Lumia 510 in the below video caught running with the new Start screen with different Tile sizes, new accent colors, Office and the Bing dynamic lock screen wallpaper, and of course you can see those Chinese characters. It is also running Windows Phone 7.8 build 8858.136.

Nokia Lumia 510 should hit Chinese markets by the end of this year and it packs a 4-inch LCS screen with 480 by 800 pixels of resolution, Qualcomm S1 single-core processor clocked at 800MHz, 256MB RAM, a 5 megapixel camera on the back side, 1300mAh battery, 4GB internal storage and a suite of preinstalled Nokia apps.
