Finally, there’s a phone that has come close to the battery size of the the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx/Maxx HD handset. Lenovo has unveiled a new Android phone called IdeaPhone P770 with a powerful 3,500mAh battery, which is in fact 200mAh larger than the battery of Razr Maxx handset. The Lenovo P770 handset has got a 4.5-inch IPS Display with 960 x 540 pixels of resolution, that means its battery life will be as good as the Razr Maxx handset.
Lenovo claims that the device can last up to 29 hours of talk-time, or up to 644 hours of stand-by time (that’s 26 days).
Here’s the full list of the highlights of the IdeaPhone P770:
# Ships with Android 4.0 Jelly Bean with Lenovo’s own customization on top of it
# 4.5” qHD display
# 1.2Ghz dual-core processor
# A full gigbyte of RAM
# 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front-facing snapper
# 4GB internal memory and there’s a 8GB MicroSD card included in the box
# It measures 133 x 67 x 11.9 mm, weighs 161 grams
It’s sad to mention that it is lacking 4G LTE radio under the hood. That means, we may not see it launching in the U.S., but it would be great addition for the MetroPCS, and Boost Mobile networks.
The Lenovo P770 is now available in China for 1,699 CNY (that’s roughly $273). There’s no word yet on the worldwide availability of the handset.
A couple of more images after the break.
