Google has rolled out the updates for its Chrome browser both for Android and iOS platforms. The new Chrome browser for Android includes a number of stability fixes and performance improvements to offer cooler browsing experience. The update for Android platform includes both ARM specific and x86 devices. The stable channel for the latest Android Chrome release for x86 devices is 18.0.1026322 and 18.0.1025469 for ARM based devices. The version number of the Chrome browser for iOS bumps up to 23.0.1271.91.
Chrome update for iOS brings a set of new features including stability and security improvements. Users can now save boarding passes and rickets with Passbook app, open PDF files in other apps and you will also see a new option to turn on text encoding functionality in settings.

We’ve also head that Google will bring mobile Chrome version numbers up to match Desktop version number in next year. Currently, Android edition is on build 18, and desktop version residing in build 23. Google has also promised to bring a new developer build of Chrome for Android by the end of 2012.
