HTC Thunderbolt runs with Android 2.2 Froyo OS (Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrading capability) on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, sporting a 4.3-inch Super LCD display with capacitive multi-touch capabilities, proximity sensor, and light sensor (480 x 800 pixels), equipped with 8 Megapixels rear camera with Dual-LED flash & 720p HD video shooting capability, 1.3 Megapixels front-side camera for video calling, 768MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, micro-SD card slot support for memory expansion up to 32GB, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA functionality, Mobile hotspots, 1400mAh battery and much more.
HTC ThunderBolt is also equipped with built-in kickstand and Dolby and SRS surround technology and DLNA compatibility. HTC Thunderbolt will not offer Skype video chat out of the box at launch time. It maybe introduce at some time this year.
