Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II Pricing

Mobile phone users in the United States can now head over to Verizon’s online stores and retail stores to purchase one new Android handset that Samsung has made official with Android’s new Jelly Bean (v4.1) operating system, called Galaxy Note II. The device went up for sale on Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular a few weeks ago. It’s good to see that the device has finally made its way to one of the biggest wireless carriers (bigger than its competitors) in the U.S., which has the strongest LTE network in States.

Verizon started shipping this beast yesterday with a two-days shipping schedule to the users who pre-ordered it online. The phablet was available for pre-order in both the blue and white versions of the since the end of October. It seems Galaxy Note II will face tough competition from the 5-inch HTC Droid DNA 1080p phone, which was released a couple of weeks ago.

Price tag for the Verizon connected Galaxy Note II set at $299 on contract with the signing of a two-year contract agreement. It cost $700 without any contract. For that price tag, you will get a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor packed inside, as well as with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network.

There’s an 8 megapixel camera on back side to record 1080p HD videos, and a 2MP camera on front side for forwarding video chats. It also comes to shelves with 2GB RAM, 16GB of native storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS receiver, NFC capabilities and it has also got an exclusive multitasking feature called “multi-window” that allows users to split its larger screen in two and run two apps at the same time. There will be some preinstalled apps such as Google Now, S Note, S Beam, S Suggest, S Voice and many more and of course, it will ship with the newly revamped S Pen stylus. Verizon has also slapped Verizon branding on the home button of this monster and fortunately other carrier haven’t followed the footsteps of the Big Red network.
